Synergon Information Systems Plc. Has opened Europe's first fully partner-operated
Huawei training center - in this case also run by Synergon - 27 September 2005
in Budapest. This is one of the most versatile information centers of the high-quality
Chinese information-technology industry in Eastern Europe. The courses will introduce
the products of one of the world's biggest and most developing company offering
network tools and solutions to the professionals of the region.
The event was held on September 27 in the headquarters of Synergon Information
Systems Plc., in the presence of Péter Kiss, minister of the Prime Minister's
Office. The opening of the Training Center is an outstanding example of Chinese-Hungarian
co-operation representing the front-line technology. The event signals Huawei's
intention to choose Synergon as its regional center showing an example to other
interested Chinese companies as well.
As Mr Loránt Száray CEO said, Synergon Information Systems Plc. and Huawei Technologies
Investment Co. Ltd. closed a regional system integrator agreement in April 2005.
This agreement is of great importance as the high-quality and user friendly products
of the Chinese company will get to Hungary, Croatia, the Czech Republic an to
Slovakia in a faster and easier way. Synergon believes that it is of significant
importance that Huawei's products will be thoroughly introduced to the IT professionals
in the region and to achieve this, Synergon organizes courses presenting how to
use these products. It is an important fact for the IT professionals, that Huawei's
products are among the most developed and high-level ones all over the world,
overtaking products of some well-known global companies. An example is a user-demand
driven, ASIC based planning system that enables the construction of high capacity,
well segmented network solutions that can quickly follow market demands as well.
The other and not less important aim of establishing a Huawei Authorized Training
Center (HATC) is to spread the best solutions of Huawei in the region and to demonstrate
the advantages of these while in operation. The courses give useful knowledge
mainly to network engineers of big companies, providers and professionals operating
information security systems. Considering this, the courses of the new training
centers are advised to be primary attended by professionals of prospective users.
The training center initially starts with general courses to meet the expected
needs of the market (high-end routers, switch knowledge, firewalls), but later
the education will be extended to other fields. The center laboratory is supplied
with equipment worth 1.5 million USD, among others with the most developed and
the second biggest router of Huawei (NE80E) with only a few similar ones on the
market. The students get not only theoretical knowledge, but at laboratory practices
they pick up technological and tool-specific knowledge too. Qualification support
courses for interested applicants are also planned for the further operation of
the center. The teachers are Synergon engineers with over five years network planning
and operating experience, who were trained in the Huawei center in Shenzen (China).
